THE ALPHA MU CHAPTER
HISTORY
In the fall of 2014, a diverse group of individuals joined forces and formed Leaders of Tomorrow, Unbreakable Sisterhood (LOTUS). These thirteen individuals hoped to make a positive impact in their local community by promoting cultural diversity, advocating for gender equity, educating the community within the University of Kansas, and encouraging leadership development all while creating a resourceful network through the relationships they made and maintained.

Through their diligence and hard work, the 33rd membership of Sigma Psi Zeta, the Alpha Mu Chapter, established itself at the University of Kansas on March 26, 2016. It later gained chapter status on October 7, 2020. Since then, the members of the Alpha Mu Chapter have been striving to exemplify the 10 Rays of SYZterhood here at the University of Kansas.
